Arrow of Light

The Arrow of Light is the ultimate achievement in Cub

Scouting.   This is the second year of the Webelos program.  Arrows are in the 5th Grade or are 10 years old. Arrows are preparing themselves to be Scouts.   They lead themselves with their den leader acting as more of a facilitator.  They focus on the creation of their patrol and being the mature leaders of the Pack. At the end of the year, the Cub is awarded the Arrow of Light Award--the only award earned in Cub Scouting that can be worn on their Scout uniform

Like all Cub ranks, caregivers (Akelas) are permitted to work with their Scout on adventures and sign off that the Cub satisfactorily completed the requirement by trying their best.

Arrow of Light Adventures

Arrows have both Required and Elective adventures. Click on each adventure to see its requirements and activities. Required adventures are typically completed at Den meetings.  Elective Adventures can be completed either as a group or at home with the assistance of caregivers.
